What a monthly certification is
A certification is a documented statement of the work completed during a given month, itemised by chapter and partition as defined in the original contract. It quantifies the percentage of each line item that has been executed, calculates the corresponding economic value and presents it against the total contracted budget. The client receives this document before any payment is processed.
