High-End Luxury Bathroom Renovation
The Challenge
The Architectural Mandate
The client required the total transformation of six independent wet rooms, elevating them to a contemporary spa standard. The primary challenge resided in the absolute fidelity to Pedro Peña's aesthetic vision, which featured minimal joints and continuous porcelain surfaces.
Executing six individual luxury designs simultaneously within an occupied estate required flawless logistics: managing massive demolition, manual removal of large-scale debris, and the millimeter-perfect layout for concealed high-flow faucets.
There was zero tolerance for geometric error; every slab, miter, and curve had to align with the original design intents across all architectural planes.
Precision Craftsmanship
-
01
Large Format Mastery
Handling and installation of 160x320x6mm Calacatta slabs. This required specialized suction systems and laser-leveling of all substrates to ensure 1mm joints and perfect continuity of the stone's veining.
-
02
Bespoke Metal Structures
On-site fabrication and adaptation of steel frameworks to support new curved porcelain countertops and bathtub surrounds. This hybrid engineering approach allowed for organic shapes with zero structural movement.
-
03
Hydro-Engineering
Formation of walk-in showers with hand-executed slopes and hidden linear drainage systems. Complete overhaul of the MEP layout to accommodate built-in GESSI wellness systems and recessed lighting.
The Noble Palette
A careful selection of materials aimed at purity, elegance, and extreme durability. Realta's in-house team managed the assembly of these delicate elements with artisan skill.
