Our approach combined heavy-duty machinery for precision cutting with the delicate artisanal touch required for decorative finishes. The result is a seamless aesthetic that aligns perfectly with the resort’s high-end interior design standards, establishing a visual language of clean lines and flawless transitions.
The Challenge
LARGE FORMAT MASTERY
The revitalization of these iconic bungalows demanded a seamless fusion of technical durability and aesthetic opulence. We executed the installation of large-format Calacatta-style technical porcelain, chosen for its ability to provide a monolithic, marble-like continuity that visually expands the space from the interior suites out to the exterior terraces. To ensure this flawless transition, the process began with integral substrate preparation. We applied high-performance technical leveling mortar to create a perfectly flat, zero-tolerance plane—a critical step that guarantees the longevity of the pavement against thermal shifts and heavy use.
Beyond the foundation, the installation was a feat of precision engineering. Utilizing specific professional machinery for complex cutouts and machining, our team crafted 45-degree mitered edges (ingletes) with surgical accuracy. This attention to detail allowed us to achieve minimal joint widths and perfect alignment across expansive surfaces, ensuring that the veining flows uninterrupted.
